Mother β”‚ Writer β”‚ Content Creator

I first stumbled upon the notion of revealing content from my personal journal, during the course of research for my dissertation. After attaining my bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, a master’s degree in applied psychology and now finishing my doctorate in clinical psychology, I had an epiphany of converting my fashion website into a virtual spot for inspiration. It felt like faith when I decided to fuse my two majors with hopes of restitution. There are other influencing factors behind the concept which originally started as a fashion website five years ago, but essentially it all stems from my unending passion for people and creativity.

She Journaled uncovers intimate stories of inspiration from my very own, personal life. At a significantly young age, journaling was an escape from baleful experiences, enlightenment to solving a plethora of problems and a creative outlet. As I continue to journal and share candid life stories and confessions that influence each chapter of my life now, as a first-time mom, my hope is that you use it as a source of inspiration in some way! A journal encapsulates all the hush-hush details a person can reveal in a moment of reflection which is the epiphany that connected the dots. This site is a platform for what I wrote, continue to write, and how it all connects us.

I am still figuring out life; the best part of motherhood and life, in general, is that we are all doing it in our own perfectly, imperfect way…

It is my firm belief that I must pay it forward and share experiences that will veritably solve your problems and truly encourage you. I always yearned for a virtual spot that I could go to for needed advice on so many topics, but it simply didn’t exist – I hope this spot serves you well for yours!
